Acquired last year and re-launched this spring, FeedPlex includes new features like keyword density, words per page, URL restriction and category. FyberSearch LLC, a search engine technology company, today announced that it has added 11 features to the XML search engine FeedPlex that it acquired last year and re-launched this spring.FeedPlex is a search engine for users who are interested in finding XML and RSS files located on blogs and websites. According to the company, FeedPlex now offers features to complement it’s search functionality and some of which cannot be found on most search engines. Three of these unique features are keyword density, words per page and category. Other available features include URL restriction, search inside, domain extension, description length and results per page.

The ‘Keyword Density’ feature requires that each web page found in a user’s search results contain his/her search query at least X times. The ‘Words Per Page’ feature requires that each web page found in a user’s search results contain more/less than X total words. With the ‘Category’ setting a user can restrict his/her search query to web pages relating to a certain topic.
