Google introduced a new personalized service yesterday that incorporates features such as Google News (from a limited number of sources like NY Times, BBC, Slashdot), Gmail, weather, movies and stock market onto the Google homepage. It’s currently available for preview from Google Labs, where you can try Google’s new projects and ideas.Google will also add support for a number of RSS feeds to the personalized service within a couple of months. The move means Google will compete more closely with Yahoo! and other sites that offer access to lots of services through a central page. The new service is similar to Yahoo’s “My Yahoo” and “My MSN” from Microsoft.
