Blinkx tv, based in London and San Francisco, was launched in December 2004 can search more than 200 document formats, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF. Blinkx will index television content archived on Reuters.com. News, business and financial information provider Reuters has signed a content deal with Blinkx TV which will make its television content searchable through the www.blinkx.tv search engine.
