Search Engine Advertising Close To Topping $4 Billion

Advertisers will end up spending more than $4 billion this year for search engine marketing, according to a study released Tuesday by the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO).
The $4.087 billion total is for payments by U.S. and Canadian companies and organizations paid to search-related media companies, search engine marketing agencies and in-house expenditures in support of advertising search activities. More
