New search engine unveiled

The Internet’s first search engine tracking newly posted content went live today at www.pubsub.com. Developed by Manhattan’s PubSub Concepts, the search engine alerts users every time a search match is produced.

The 2-year-old company received more than $1 million from angel investors last spring and is in active discussions with venture capital firms to obtain several million more in what would be its first round of institutional funding. The company currently has no revenues, but beginning in the first half of next year, it will be supported by advertising on its site.
